CHALLENGE: Westburne, a national electrical supplier, was looking to combat a growing challenge in the electrical distribution industry. Increasingly, electrical product customers turn to online retailers like Amazon for their purchases. Westburne’s marketing team enlisted IVY to execute a brand update and a content marketing campaign to articulate Westburne’s competitive advantage.

SOLUTION: After getting to know Westburne’s business operations, we realized that the company’s real stock-in-trade wasn’t electrical products, it was client service. Westburne employees pride themselves on knowing their customers and the right electrical equipment to meet their needs. With that in mind, we shaped the brand and the campaign pieces around the people who work at Westburne and conveyed the human advantage of purchasing electrical products at Westburne Electrical Supply.
